Global Village, Dubai’s renowned outdoor entertainment and cultural destination, will soon open its doors again. After the last record-setting, 29th season, which brought in more than 10.5 million people, the park is ready to unveil its milestone 30th season. This year has special significance for a few reasons, including 20 years of Global Village as a permanent public place in Dubai, 17.2 million square feet.
While we still don’t know the precise opening date, there is palpable excitement for a new season of cultural experiences, live entertainment, and culinary offerings from all over the world.

Global Village’s evolution reflects Dubai’s blueprint for an open, multicultural city. It was founded in 1997 as a modest event with a few kiosks representing ten countries and only half a million visitors. It then moved from Oud Metha to Dubai Festival City, and moved again in 2005 to its new massive 17.2 million square foot home in Dubailand.
Global Village has since grown into an important venue for residents and tourists alike, enabling all visitors to travel the world in one day. Come for the shopping from around the world, stay for the entertainment, and relish the cultural experience… all wrapped up into one incredible attraction in Dubai’s winter season.
Last season set an incredible precedent of over 90 cultures represented across 30 pavilions, over 40,000 live shows, 3,500 shops, and over 250 food options! Season 30’s goal is to elevate this experience with even more to see and do.
Visitors can look forward to:
Although an official opening date has been stated, the Global Village website states a season from October 2025 to May 2026. This is likely intended for the reason of taking advantage of the UAE’s more acceptable winter temperatures, and outdoor activities are at their most convenient to attend and endure. Considering that previous years have opened the park around 18 October, it is likely that Global Village will open around this time again.
Entrepreneurs and business owners wanting to be a part of this global experience can now do so. Global Village is now accepting registrations for retail space for the season. Businesses can apply for shops, kiosks, trolleys, and food and beverage outlets, providing exceptional opportunities to represent and welcome millions of visitors from different parts of the world.
Global Village’s story highlights its successful journey, along with the extraordinary growth of Dubai. In 1997, Global Village began in a parking lot off Dubai Creek with a few kiosks and a total of 500,000 guests. After a few movements, The Village settled into its permanent home at Dubailand in 2005. Today, The Village is at an impressive 17.2 million square feet, has welcomed millions each season, and is one of Dubai’s top tourist attractions.
Season 30 will be a celebration of this wonderful journey, featuring a unique mix of shopping, dining, and cultural entertainment, continuing to welcome visitors from across the world.
Although no exact date has been published yet by Global Village, their official website states a season window from October 2025 to May 2026; it is likely to open in mid-to-late October when the weather becomes cooler, if past seasons are any indication.
