Zayed National Museum Tickets

Experience the richness of the heritage of the people of the United Arab Emirates at the Zayed National Museum located on Saadiyat Island. This incredible cultural site tells the history of the United Arab Emirates over 300,000 years, including prehistory to today. This destination allows visitors to explore the traditions of the Emirati people, all the while paying homage to the life and vision of the UAE’s Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Designed by internationally acclaimed architects Foster + Partners, this museum is a brilliant example of environmentally friendly architectural design. The five large beautiful towers that are made of steel and rise to a height of 123 meters are inspired by the wings of a falcon, which is the national bird of the United Arab Emirates. These wings provide the museum with an air-cooling system that helps with the cooling of the inside of the building. In addition, there are six permanent galleries and a special exhibition space available to house a wide variety of exhibitions and programs that allow visitors to learn about and understand the essence of the United Arab Emirates.

Highlights

  • Discover more than 300,000 years’ worth of artifacts at the Zayed National Museum, where cutting-edge technology coexists with ancient history.
  • Six permanent galleries, a temporary exhibition, Al Masar Garden, and interactive learning areas are all accessible with admission.
  • Discover interactive displays that use digital storytelling, immersive soundscapes, and smart glass technologies throughout the museum.
  • The 600-meter outdoor gallery in Al Masar Garden creates a singular sensory experience by fusing urban, desert, and oasis landscapes.
