Getting started

Get there early so you may take your time exploring the displays. To get help with check-in, present your ticket at the door. Snacks and drinks are available at the on-site café before you begin your stay.

What to expect

• Discover dynamic installations: explore areas such as “Massless Suns and Dark Suns”, where spheres of light and darkness provide experiences that alter perception, and “Levitation Void”, which features a floating black sphere that reacts to touch.
• Interact with interactive art: In contrast to conventional museums, teamLab Phenomena invites guests to participate in the artwork with interactive exhibitions that change according to your activities.
• Discover a synthesis of disciplines: The displays skilfully combine technology, art, and nature to provide a multisensory experience that piques curiosity and challenges preconceptions.

What to Bring?

• For adult-exclusive Art Undistracted hours (18+ only), a valid photo ID is especially required.
• Ticket or booking confirmation: digital or printed; online reservations are advised.
• Comfortable clothing: Put on supportive shoes and clothes that are useful. It is not permitted to wear high heels. Bring a change of clothes for kids or think about wearing clothes that can be folded up to your knees because certain exhibitions incorporate water.
• Camera/phone: Only personal usage is allowed for photography and brief movies; flash, tripods, selfie sticks, and commercial equipment are not allowed.
• Water bottle: Because visits can linger for several hours, it is advised to stay hydrated.

What is not allowed?

• During Art Undistracted (Wednesdays & Thursdays, 6pm–10pm), guests under the age of 18 are not allowed.
• Food and beverages from outside are only permitted if they are bought within.
• Large bags or luggage: Personal belongings can be stored in free lockers. There is not enough room for storage, and strollers are not allowed inside.
• It is forbidden to smoke or vape anywhere on the property, including outside.
• Flashlights, selfie sticks, tripods, and monopods are not allowed in exhibition spaces, even for taking pictures.
• commercial or for-profit photography or videography without previous written permission.
• Pets are not permitted, with the exception of authorised assistance animals.

Accessibility

• Accessible to wheelchair users: The facility has ramps and lifts.
• Accessible restrooms: Specialised spaces for visitors with their needs.
• For mothers who need a private space, there is a nursing room available.
• Assistance from staff: Multilingual employees are prepared to help visitors with particular requirements.
• Families and those with impairments get priority access.

• Recommended visit duration: 1.5 to 3 hours on average.
• The special 18+ experience “Art Undistracted” is available at teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi. To verify age, a government-issued photo ID is needed. Last admission is at 8 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and sessions continue from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Adults only: During timeslots designated for Art Undistracted.
• Food and drink: The café is open; only in-house purchases are accepted.
• Children under the age of twelve must always be accompanied by an adult.
• Children’s amenities: strollers should be placed in automobiles; a nursing room and changing areas are available.
• Children’s admission: Children are not permitted to enter after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
