Skydive Dubai: Tandem Skydiving at the Palm Drop Zone

All of the in-store pre-boarding preparation

You will need to travel to the Palm Drop Zone on the day of your reservation. A seat on one of SkyDubai’s planes will be reserved for you once the registration and waiver forms have been completed and your BMI has been determined for safety purposes. You will meet your instructor around half an hour before you board the aircraft. Your instructor will help you put on your harness, lead you through the entire process, provide a safety briefing, and show you how to position yourself for the next free fall. Before you board, you will be interviewed by a camera flyer (be sure to smile whenever you see them!).

After that, you’ll be led to the boarding area, where you can take pictures while all the aircraft and its equipment are inspected for safety.

Flying across the sky of Dubai

After that, get on your plane and enjoy the amazing sights of the surroundings as you ascend. You will be tethered to the front of your instructor and checked examined again before jumping from the aircraft just before you reach exit height, which is a staggering 13,000 feet or 4,000 meters, during the 20-minute flight up. Try to grin for the camera while you fall for the entire sixty seconds! At 6000 feet, your parachute will finally release. After that, you will enjoy a rather calm parachute ride for up to five minutes, which will give you time to orient yourself and take in the breathtaking sights of the surroundings as you descend.

The rest is better experienced than told, but we can guarantee, you’re not bound to forget it any time soon!

What to bring

• For identification purposes, bring a valid photo ID card or your passport on the day of your reservation.

What is prohibited

• Children under the age of eighteen are not permitted to participate in this activity.
• Your tickets cannot be transferred to another person.

Accessibility

• Pregnant women, individuals with epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent blackouts or giddiness, brain or nervous system diseases, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, dislocated shoulder or other limb(s), recurrent weakness, diabetes, mental illness, and drug or alcohol addiction are not the best candidates for this experience.
• Men who weigh more than 100 kg/220 lbs, ladies who weigh more than 90 kg/198 lbs, and women with a BMI higher than 27.5 are not allowed to take part in this activity.

More details

• It is not required to take the one-way shuttle from the hotel to the drop-off location.
• The passengers’ passport names and the names they have on file for the skydiving adventure must match. Following booking processing, any name changes will incur a fee of AED 300 per name, which must be paid at check-in.
• Wear trainers or sports shoes with loose, athletic clothing.

• You will receive an email with your voucher soon.
• Present the mobile phone voucher at the attraction together with a legitimate photo ID.
• To prevent any delays, please arrive at the attraction fifteen minutes before to the time of your visit.

• The Le Meridien Hotel 1’s Mina Al Siyahi is the nearest bus stop. The attraction is a short 15-minute walk away.
• Buses 8, 84, and N55 can take you there.
