Know Before You Go

  • Before you go, make sure your camera has enough capacity. Make sure you are standing on top of the photo signs that are positioned thoughtfully across the museum floor in order to get the finest shots. You are free to snap as many pictures as you like, and you should definitely share them with your friends.
  • It is not permitted to eat or drink on the property.
  • People with epilepsy and balance issues should not use the tilted room.
  • It is not allowed to sprint in the Vortex Tunnel, jump up and down, or climb on the handrail.

  • In your own vehicle or via taxi
  • To get to the Sharaf DG Station by metro, take the GREEN line or the RED Line to Burjuman Station.
  • By bus: The Heritage Village, which is next to the Al Bastakiya, is the bus stop nearest to the Museum. The walk to the museum takes five minutes.
