Awesome Azerbaijan

In three nights and four days, explore Azerbaijan’s riches, which are famed for their balanced blend of culture, creativity, and breathtaking natural beauty. Explore Baku’s stunning skyline and the UNESCO-listed old centre. A full-day guided tour allows you to immerse yourself in the spectacular grandeur of Gabala and Tufandag Mountain Resort. This package includes your choice of accommodation as well as all transfers, making for an enriching and unforgettable stay.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Baku and transfer to the hotel.

Arrive in Baku
Arrive at Baku airport and transfer to hotel. Stay overnight in Baku.

Day 2Gabala Tour & Transfer to Baku

Gabala Tour
Breakfast in the hotel.
Join the Gabala Tour excursion to Tufandaq Winter-Summer Tourism Complex, which provides year-round cable car rides, ski tracks with varying difficulty levels, ski training and school, catering services (cafes and restaurants), children’s entertainment centres, and a hotel.
Nohur Lake is located in Qabala, another Azerbaijani area that travellers pass through on their way to Sheki. The Yeddi Gozel (Seven Beauties) waterfalls in Gabala, a popular tourist destination, are located 6 kilometres from Vandam village and 3 kilometres from the main track over Puskan. While there is no lake on the way, a beautiful view can be found if you go deeper into the mountains. Water from numerous ravines creates a seven-step cascade. There are only two minor waterfalls visible below. To see the remaining five waterfalls, you must ascend the stairs, which demands some physical effort. Those who travel this challenging journey, on the other hand, are treated to a mystical view. There’s also a restaurant and a teahouse. The waterfall is constantly dark and chilly since it is located in a lush forest that is not exposed to the sun’s rays.
Overnight in Baku.

Day 3 Baku City Tour

 Baku City Tour
Breakfast at Hotel
Our tour begins in Baku’s Old City, also known as the Inner City, which is the historical hub of the country’s capital. The Old City is Baku’s most ancient area, enclosed by walls that are well-protected. In 2007, the Old City had a population of approximately 3000 people. The Old City of Baku, featuring the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and the Maiden Tower, became Azerbaijan’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site in December 2000. (Walking Tour)
The group will visit Nizami Street, a popular shopping destination. The street’s origins may be traced back to Baku’s municipal planning project of 1864. The street passes through the city’s core from west to east. It starts on Abdulla Shaig Street in the city’s mountainous area and finishes at a railway bed on Sabit Orujov Street, near a memorial to Shah Ismail Khatai in ‘Black City’. The total length of the street is 3,538 meters.
Fountains Square is a public square in downtown Baku, Azerbaijan’s capital. The square was once known as Parapet, and it is still commonly referred to by that name. The name Fountains plaza refers to the presence of dozens of fountains across the plaza, which were first built during Soviet control in Azerbaijan. The square serves as a public gathering space, particularly after work hours and on weekends. The tour continues with a visit to the delightful example of modern architecture, the Heydar Aliyev Centre, a 57,500 m2 building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan created by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and known for its unusual architecture and flowing, curved form that avoids abrupt corners. The centre is named after Heydar Aliyev, Soviet Azerbaijan’s first secretary from 1969 to 1982 and president of the Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003. (Photoshoot outside)
Overnight in Baku.

Day 4Absheron tour

Absheron tour
Breakfast at Hotel
Proceed to the Absheron excursion.
Proceed to the Ateshgah Tour (Fire Worshippers Temple). According to Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used for Hindu and Zoroastrian worship. «Atash» is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex, which includes a courtyard encircled by monastic cells and a tetra pillar-altar in the centre, was built between the 17th and 18th century.
Trip to “Fire Mountain”-“Yanardag”–a mountain on the Absheron Peninsula, 25 kilometres north of Baku. The word “Yanardag” literally means “Blazing mountain”. Flaming bodies of flame dance across the stones and floor. Yanar dag is a natural gas fire that burns continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula in the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, often known as the “land of fire.”
Stay in Baku.
