Things to pack

• It is advised that women wear a headscarf (shayla) and a traditional robe (abaya). You will be given these clothes if you don’t have any of your own.
• You should completely cover your arms, legs, and hair when you visit the mosque. It is advised that men wear long sleeves and long pants.
• Wearing light clothing is advised for desert safaris.
• For the desert safari experience, pack a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
• For the nighttime Dubai Marina cruise, it is recommended to bring a jacket.

• It is not permitted to take pictures of native ladies.
• It is forbidden to make overt displays of affection within the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
