Next, proceed to Qasr al Watan, a magnificent cultural landmark in the United Arab Emirates also referred to as the Palace of the Nation. Things to pack

• When visiting the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, it is advised to wear sunglasses.
• It is advised that women wear a headscarf (shayla) and a traditional robe (abaya). You will be given these clothes if you don’t have any of your own.
• You should completely cover your arms, legs, and hair when you visit the mosque.
• It is advised that men wear long sleeves and long pants.

What is prohibited

• Travel light because there isn’t enough room for luggage storage throughout this event.
• It is forbidden to make overt displays of affection within the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
• Note: You are not permitted to enter the mosque wearing jeans, tight apparel, half sleeves, skirts, beach attire, or transparent clothing.
• It is not permitted to smoke inside the car.
• It is not permitted to take pictures of native ladies.
• Food and drink consumption are prohibited in Qasr Al Watan’s great hall and exhibition spaces. Only the palace’s dining rooms and the gardens are open for consumption.
• Animals or pets are not permitted within the Qasr Al Watan Palace or its grounds.
