Choosing Your Access Burj Khalifa Ticket Variations

To see this awe-inspiring skyscraper, you have to go to an observation deck. The Burj Khalifa has two main observation levels. One deck is on the 124th and 125th floors. The second deck is a higher deck on the 148th floor. The ticket you purchased for the Burj Khalifa will determine what level you access. A premium ticket to Level 148 always provides access to the lower 124th and 125th floors.

Ticket Showdown At The Top vs. At The Top SKY

You will have to choose between two distinctly different observation experiences, primarily defined by the floor and the level of service provided.

Even when the venue is at full capacity, guests will have the chance to access the away deck area for a panoramic view of the vast Dubai skyline that stretches as far as the eye can see. Particularly, this space is known for sunset views because of the relief from the evening wind and the beautiful vantage point. Burj Park represents a welcoming, artificial green island oasis right in the heart of Downtown Dubai and just a short walk from the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa.

This picturesque and open space features wide, inviting walkways with mesmerizing contemporary art pieces that are a relaxing destination for a quiet night stroll or bike ride; it is also one of the best places in the city to enjoy unrivaled vistas of the surrounding skyscrapers and amazing photo opportunities of the inspiring, captivating shows of the Dubai Fountain.

The Ultimate Experience Sunset Views from Burj Khalifa

Armani Hotel Dubai, Burj Khalifa

As the sun starts to sink, the horizon becomes a dramatic vista of orange and pink colors that adds a little something to your experience. This exact time is the most fun because you have a chance to see two equally impressive views in just one visit.

  • Golden Hour: Seeing the expansive, sprawling view of the city change in the glowing direct light from the setting sun.
  • Night Glamour: Staying long enough to see the city below “wake up” to the lights as it transforms into a beautiful skyline at night.

Observation Deck Experience Prime vs. Non-Prime Hours

Selecting a time slot provides you with two unique experiences, differentiated mainly by the time requested and accompanying price: Prime Hours and Non-Prime Hours.

Prime Hours The Sunset Spectacle

Prime hours provide the most famous and sought-after time slots, as they line up with the breathtaking sunset times in Dubai.

  • Experience: These tickets are slightly more expensive due to demand but are worth it for the experience alone; there are absolutely spectacular views of the city as the rich colors of amber (or golden) light fill the skyline from the observation deck!
  • Highlight: Picture the sun setting over the Persian Gulf miles away in the distance from the topmost point of humanity (or the tallest building in the world), and all time spent is worth it for the experience.

Non-Prime Hours Flexibility and Value

Non-prime hours apply to all remaining times of operation and can be more economical for your visit.

  • Experience: Being less expensive, entry time makes it a better option if you prefer fewer crowds, want to avoid overspending, or prefer the best value. If you are visiting at this optimal time, you still have an unbelievable panoramic view of Dubai, either in the morning or late evening.

Before Your Visit Ticketing and Booking Tips

  • Reserve Tickets Online & Ahead of Time: To guarantee admission and to avoid standing in a queue at the ticket counter, it is strongly advised that you reserve tickets online.
  • For the high visitation and tourist season (October to March), reserve at least 3-4 weeks in advance.
  • For the non-peak season, a reservation of 2-3 days in advance is suggested but not necessary.
  • Ticket Retrieval: If you reserved your tickets online, just show the e-ticket on your phone at the will-call, (located on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall), and you will be able to retrieve your tickets without delay.
  • Tickets Cancellation: If you reserved your tickets online, you may cancel for a full refund, up to 48 hours in advance of the date you reserved.
  • Check the Weather: Prior to your planned visit, check the weather forecast for your visit date. If the weather is rainy, hazy, or heavy foggy, the visibility from the top will be significantly reduced.
  • Consider a Foggy Morning: Optional experience: If there is a heavy, thick layer of fog blanketing over the city, it will be incredibly magical to enjoy a view over the clouds in the morning hours.

Venue Rules and Practical Information

  • Arrival Time: It is requested to arrive at least 15 minutes before your assigned admission time to have ample time to complete your security checks at ease.
  • Luggage Policy: Large items of luggage are not allowed inside the observation decks. You may store large luggage in our checked Secured Baggage Area at entry.
  • Food and Drink: Outside food and drinks are not allowed on the observation decks.

Child Admission and Pricing

  • Children under 4 years of age receive free admission and do not require a ticket.
  • A children’s price applies to children between the ages of 4 and 12.
  • A full adult price applies to visitors aged 13 and over.
  • Official App: You can download the official “At the Top” app on your mobile device for helpful information during your visit.

Maximizing Your Experience

  • Timing to view the Sunset: If your aim is to witness the breathtaking sunset, do your best to purchase an hour ticket on a weekday and not on the weekend, when it is typically much busier and the crowds will be larger.
  • Dubai Fountain Show: You should also enjoy the breathtaking Dubai Fountain show from the observation deck, while you are there as well.
  • The shows occur every 30 minutes between the hours of 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM
  • From the view above, you will have a special and magical perspective to enjoy the spectacle of light, music, and water.
